Մայիսի 29-ին Հայաստանի պատմության թանգարանում տեղի ունեցավ «Անիի հնագիտական դպրոցը» խորագիրը կրող միջազգային գիտաժողովի բացումը, որը կազմակերպել էին Հայաստանի պատմության թանգարանը (ՀՊԹ), ՀՀ ԳԱԱ հնագիտության և ազգագրության ինստիտուտը (ՀԱԻ) և Ազգային հետազոտությունների Մոսկվայի շինարարական պետական համալսարանը։ Գիտաժողովը տևելու է 3 օր՝ մայիսի 29-ից 31-ը ներառյալ, որի ընթացքում կներկայացվի չորս տասնյակից ավելի զեկուցումներ:
Ներկաներին ողջունեցին ՀՊԹ տնօրեն Դավիթ Պողոսյանը, ՀՀ ԳԱԱ ՀԱԻ տնօրեն Արսեն Բոբոխյանը և Ազգային հետազոտությունների Մոսկվայի շինարարական պետական համալսարանի Ճարտարապետության և քաղաքաշինության ինստիտուտի տնօրեն Արմեն Ղազարյանը: Իրենց խոսքում նրանք կարևորեցին 19-րդ դարավերջին և 20-րդ դարասկզբին Անիում սկսված հնագիտական պեղումները և ուսումնասիրությունները հայտնի հայագետ Նիկողայոս Մառի, Թորոս Թորամանյանի, Աշխարհբեկ Քալանթարի (Աշխարհբեկ Լոռիս-Մելիք Քալանթար), Վրույրների և այլ երախտավորների կողմից:
