Lecture: “Winemaking in Late Medieval Yerevan: Based on the Study of the Wine Presses of the Dalma Vineyards”

On April 25, the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the NAS RA held a lecture as part of the “Medieval Studies Discussions” seminar series.

Archaeologist Arman Nalbandyan delivered the lecture, focusing on the findings from the Dalma Vineyards. According to Nalbandyan, excavations of the Dalma wine press were conducted in 2023 by the Scientific Research Center for Historical and Cultural Heritage. He expressed hope that efforts toward the preservation and public presentation of the wine press would continue.

At the end of the lecture, a discussion took place, and attendees asked questions of Mr. Nalbandyan.
